Specialization of the US president

Currently the head of the White House uses two modified Boeing 747-200B and military numbers, VC-25A. As a rule, the communication signal of any aircraft carrying the US president has the letter One (Number one).

So the American leader's long-haul jet is called Air Force One , and the helicopter for the former leader is short for Marine One . It is also because of this meaning that his special car is called Cadillac One .

Every time Air Force One takes off, it is considered to be performing a military mission. The aircraft was ordered by the government to Boeing, which was highly defensive due to its attached anti-missile devices.

Air Force One's communication system is also extremely modern and has absolute security, helping the US president to run normal business while at a height of 13 km. There are 87 different phone lines on the plane, of which 28 are encrypted lines.

The first US president to use Air Force One is John Kennedy with a version of the Boeing 707. Two aircraft serving the US leader are now versions of the larger Boeing 747. On each of them are painted American flags in the tail and the words United States of America in the body.

The aircraft has two large kitchens ready to serve guests at all times. When not in service, Air Force One stopped at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland, not far from the White House.

Chinese specialty

Air transportation by the Chinese government or senior officials is undertaken by the national airline Air China.

A Boeing 747-400 is often used to serve Beijing leaders' field trips. When making medium-distance trips, a Boeing 767 was mobilized, while the recent trips had a Boeing 737-800 ready.

The Chinese government once ordered a Boeing 767-300ER for President Jiang Zemin to use in 2000. But one year after the international incident involved the aircraft. China claims that they found 27 electronic bugs eavesdropping inside the plane.

Beijing then believed that the twin-engine aircraft had been electronically bugged by CIA while it underwent a conversion to become a specialist in San Antonio, Texas. The eavesdroppers are hidden under seats, restrooms and flight decks.

But the CIA and the US president both claim to have no knowledge of the device. Twenty-two military officers and Chinese officials overseeing the transformation of the plane were arrested on charges of blaming and bribing.

The aircraft was made by Boeing and delivered to US airline Delta Airlines in June 2000 on order. Shortly thereafter, it was resold to China to convert into a leader.

Many diplomats fear the eavesdropping-related event will adversely affect the Sino-US relationship and Boeing's reputation in the world's most populous market. However, after the trouble of bilateral relations was still good and China decided to buy the Boeing 767-300ER.

But this plane is never used as a special driver for leaders. It was re-designed as the original standard aircraft and delivered to Air China Airlines as an ordinary passenger plane.
