According to Techxplore, Nanoplug is the smallest hearing aid in the world today. This is a collaborative product of researchers and engineers in various fields such as industrial design, sound engineer and electro mechanics.
The nanoplug measures 7.1mm x 5.7mm x 4.17mm. This is only half the size of any other hearing aid and is almost "invisible" when worn. Thanks to nanotechnology, the hearing aid battery is tiny, with just one grain of sand and up to six days of continuous use.

Indiegogo says the hearing aid does not contain toxic chemicals and heavy metals inside. It can be connected and programmed using computer software via cable.
In addition, Nanoplug also has different operating modes, suited to each specific environment and user preferences, such as listening to TV shows instead of listening to conversations in restaurants. The user adjusts the device by touching the ear.
