The strongest beer in the world
A Scottish brewery is trying to set a Guinness record for newly introduced beers with up to 65% alcohol content.
Newly produced beers in Scotland have alcohol content
65%, stronger than whiskey or vodka.
According to the Huffington Post, while most beers typically only have 3 to 7% alcohol content, a Scottish brewery produces 65% alcoholic beer. The factory said on its website that beer ingredients include malt, wheat, oats and 100% Scottish spring water.
This beer must undergo a freezing process. Water freezes, but alcohol doesn't. Therefore, when removing stones, we obtain beer with very high alcohol content.
Enjoyers are told that "drinking this beer is like drinking a good whiskey". Although up to 65% of alcohol, beer has many flavors like malt flavor, sweet taste and lots of yeast taste.
It seems that producing strong flavored beers is a trend of Scottish breweries. Another Scottish brewery has set a world record with a 41% alcoholic beer.
