The US company intends to make blood that can cure diseases
A biotech firm is studying new treatments by adding a protein to and into the body.
Biotechnology company Rubius Therapeutics intends to develop a cure for red blood cells, the Futurism on March 1 reported. The new method is basically making "super blood" , because experts will use red blood cells instead of chemicals or synthetics, according to Torben Straight Nissen, CEO of Rubius Therapeutics.

The firm plans to add a protein that can be modified to treat a specific disease. After that, they will be transmitted into the body and start the treatment process. This type of super blood will account for less than 1% of the patient's total blood volume.
Initially, Rubius Therapeutics wanted to develop super-blood healing methods that could replace the missing enzymes in people with rare diseases, as well as cancer and autoimmune disorders such as lupus and Type 1 diabetes. The company says it only needs one donor to carry O-blood to create enough doses to treat hundreds to thousands of different patients.
Rubius Therapeutics received $ 120 million from investors to develop this method last year and received another $ 100 million."The additional money reinforces the company and allows us to accelerate the development of the first products of red blood cell therapy aimed at curing enzyme, cancer and autoimmune diseases. Immune , " Nissen said.
However, the company's new method of red blood cell healing may also go through long-term development and testing before being widely applied.
