The video is made of computer graphics with incredible truth
In the future games that are like this are great.
Today's computer graphics have reached the threshold that can produce real-world images, to the point that sometimes you can't distinguish between real and virtual. If you still don't believe the video below will prove to you.
Not only is it built from a computer, but what you see in the video is also rendered in real time by graphic designer Rense de Boer .
Maybe you don't know de Boer, but if you are a gamer, you have heard the name DICE - the famous game company behind the famous Battlefield series, de Boer is a DICE employee. In an interview with Motherboard, he said the project's goal is to push the limits of the highest rendering techniques possible, to test and apply to future titles.
Video render surreal environment.
In order to create such a wonderful environment, de Boer first photographed the real rocks he wanted to rebuild in the virtual world. Only one step took 5 days. Later, he used the Unreal Engine tool to combine images taken from different angles and create depth illusions. 'The grass is made from each leaf, bringing the depth needed to ensure authenticity and creating a more credible world ,' de Boer told Motherboard.
To make the video above, he used NVIDIA's GeForce 1080 Ti video cards.
De Boer said he didn't want to stop with this video. His next project was to develop a Nordic forest environmental demo with extremely high levels of detail and be able to play it right away in real time.'But the content from this project will one day become a full game,' he said.
