Nvidia launched 'dual-core' graphics card

By integrating two graphics chips (GPUs) on a single graphics card, if users use two GeForce 7950 GX2s cards - thanks to the "dual" video card feature - they will get processing power of up to 4 graphics chips on the same system.

Nvidia claims its new graphics cards provide users with 48 pixel lines, 16 shader capabilities, up to 76.8Gbps of graphics bandwidth, and color refresh rates on a graphics card. Single graphics up to 24 billion pixels per second, the maximum resolution is up to 2560 x 1600.

GeForce 7950 GX2 has two DVI output ports and integrates DDR-2 technology.

The category of Nvidia's new video card is HDCP-capable. This means that other components must also use HDCP technology.
