The world goes through an electron microscope

A collection of photographs taken with scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was selected by the scientific writer Brandon Broll in a book titled Microcosmos (translated: Micro Universe). Everything in these pictures, from insects to human body parts, appears beautiful and lively.
