Before taking the test or interviewing for a job, the candidate
will feel confident and achieve better results if you think about your ancestors in minutes.

The Los Angeles Times reported that researchers from Austria's University of Graz and colleagues in Germany recruited 80 students to conduct a test.

Experts initially divided students into two groups and asked a group to imagine the appearance and life of their ancestors, and the other group recalled a shopping session.

Soon the research team asked students about their level of confidence before the upcoming exams. The majority of students in the group think about their ancestors to be more confident.

The team asked all students to take some intellectual tests. The results show that the average score and the absolute score of the group thinking about shopping activities are lower than the group thinking about ancestors.

' We have shown that thinking about ancestors can increase people's thinking ability ,' the team concluded in an article in the European Spychology magazine in Europe.

The members of the research team said that whenever someone is prepared to face situations that require mental activity, such as exams or job interviews, he or she should spend at least 5 minutes thinking about ancestor. It is a simple measure to increase the likelihood of success.

Dr. Peter Fischer, a researcher at the University of Graz , said: ' Our ancestors have overcome a series of challenges in their lives, such as illness, war, pain due to loss of loved ones, economic recession. So when we think about them, we realize that people who are like us genetically can overcome the most frightening adversity. Thanks to that, we feel more confident . '
