Toothbrushes equipped with bluetooth

A technology company in the UK is about to launch a bluetooth toothbrush called Beam Toothbrush that will help keep track of your baby's brushing habits.

It may sound silly that why we have to attach Bluetooth to such a simple widget. However, when an average person only uses 46 seconds (according to a survey of experts) instead of 2 minutes brushing teeth as recommended by the dentist, this tiny technology will prove to be very useful.

As Gizmag explains the structure of the brush, its sensors are activated as soon as the brush comes into contact with the oral cavity. These sensors match a timer in the smartphone application to determine how long you brush your teeth. This application will monitor your brushing habits for a certain period of time, then you can share the results with your dentist and see if you need to improve your habits.

This should be a particularly useful device for parents who want to monitor and ensure their child's oral hygiene habits, especially for infants.

Later versions of the app will be equipped with tools to help you see how long you have brushed different parts of your teeth and also have a music application while you brush your teeth, Beam Technologies promised. The company is also planning to integrate other social applications into this smart brush and other games to reward those who have good oral hygiene habits.

The Beam Brush will go on sale in early March, priced at $ 50 a brush and will cost $ 3 each.
