Transport vessel 'Progress M-20M' connected to the ISS Station
On July 28, Russia's unmanned "Progress M-20M" space transport ship successfully connected to the International Space Station (ISS) in normal mode.
The Russian Space Agency Roscosmos said that after it was launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, the "Progress M-20M" ship only took 6 hours to fly to the ISS station under the "short diagram".
This ship carries about 2.5 tons of supplies for ISS, including fuel, food, water, fresh fruits, oxygen tanks and scientific equipment.
In particular, astronauts on the ISS also received family letters and gifts, including a birthday present for Russian astronaut Pavel Vinogradov, who will turn 60 on August 31 to and he also became the oldest astronaut in the history of conquering space.
The "Short Diagram" scheme was tested with cargo ships and then began to be used in the "Combined" spacecraft's manned flight .
After the US stopped the shuttle program in 2011, Russia's "Combined" spacecraft became the only vehicle to bring astronauts to ISS. The "Progress" ship is the unmanned version of the Union's unmanned transport ship, which supplies supplies to the space station.
