Trees help increase the efficiency of office workers

Working in a tree-like environment will help office workers achieve higher performance.

The study was carried out by Dr. Chris Knight from the University of Exeter, England, with other psychologists for many years. According to their conclusions, office workers have about 15% higher performance when working in places where many trees are planted.

For more than a year, the team used to observe many workplaces to examine and evaluate the effects of a green work environment on improving people's performance. When putting trees in the office, with the density of one tree per square meter, the research team found that the ability to work, concentration, and memorization of employees were basically improved.

"It's important for everyone to be able to see the greenery from their desks. If you work in an environment that has a number of positive psychological factors, you'll feel happy. Looks better and works better, " said Knight.

According to experts, a number of other factors in the office also have the same effect including images, changes in light or even smells. Empty offices with desks only but without decorations, images or other relaxation elements can become a hazardous space for employees.
