Turn the energy of treading your feet into electricity

In order to realize this rather bold idea, British engineers have developed a device called ' hydraulic heels ', capable of turning the footsteps of power into a power. Picture 1 of Turn the energy of treading your feet into electricity

They plan to install this device in the streets of public places such as subway stations, bus stations or under any road that is crowded by people.

According to statistics, a London subway station has about 20,000 people traveling in an hour at peak times and the average amount of electricity generated by a person's footsteps is about 5-7 watts. Thus, the total output of electricity generated by these people will be sufficient to supply a building used during the day.

The engineering team is also studying equipment to collect vibrations created by trains, airplanes and cars. This type of device is expected to be completed later this year.
