Unique 3-dimensional image of the Moon
The Japan Space Exploration Agency (JAXA) has released detailed images of the Moon's surface from data obtained by terrain cameras (Terrain Camera - TC) installed on the Kaguya spacecraft.
JAXA is the first agency to implement three-dimensional images and high-resolution animations. These photos capture the Polar Region of the Moon. This three-dimensional method has shown completely new perspectives on craters, mounds and hollows on the Moon's surface.
