The unique image of Earth looks from Mars
The unique photograph that captures the Earth's image from another planet shows that our "house" is like a flat, round surface with the Moon in the distance.
Recorded by NASA's Mars Global Surveyor, when orbiting the orbit of the "red planet", both the Earth and the Moon are crescent-shaped, striking in the vast night of the universe.
The picture was recorded by the spacecraft with the image of the Earth and the Moon from Mars.
This image has been processed so that viewers can clearly see the image of the Earth and the Moon appearing together in the dark.
Since the Earth and the Moon are closer to the sun than Mars, it is possible to see parts of the two planets, like the Moon, Venus and Mercury, looking from Earth.
Global Surveyor Mars spacecraft began its journey in September 1997 and this is the 'work' of NASA's Jet Propulsion Engine Laboratory.
