URB-E: Battery-operated scooter, foldable
At CES 2016, many were delighted to see the URB-E, a compact, foldable scooter to carry anywhere.
Launched in prototype form at CES a few years ago, URB-E scooter is finally ready to bring attention to users. With a weight of under 15.8kg, the URB-E can be easily folded and can carry an adult with a maximum speed of up to 24.1km / h.
At CES 2016 this year, URB-E development team has released the latest version of this product line.
The new design is entirely made of aluminum and carbon fiber that is commonly used on aircraft. In addition, the car is equipped with a detachable battery cell that allows it to operate for 4 hours continuously after charging.
Interestingly, the car's battery has a USB connection, meaning you can plug in accessories like headlights, brake lights or even an adapter to charge your iPhone.
URB-E now has started to be sold with a wide selection of colors and cost 1499 USD or version with "black mark" (black label) cost 1699 USD.
