US built a jetpack to help troops

US engineers are testing a jet pack that can accelerate the battlefield.

Arizona State University is launching a 4MM project (4 minutes per mile), with the focus on successfully creating a jetpack that allows US troops to easily run at speeds of up to 400m / min.

The project is the latest Pentagon effort to create armor that can deliver superhuman strength, speed and other advantages on the battlefield for US troops.

Jason Kerestes, a graduate student in engineering at the university, explained that the jetpack was reduced in thrust so that the wearer did not fly as in the case of jet backpacks in the film, which provided thrust. This allows the wearer to move faster.

In one experiment, a volunteer could easily surpass his personal accomplishment when wearing a 5kg backpack. Specifically, from the best achievement is running a mile takes 5 minutes 20 seconds, this person only takes 5 minutes 2 seconds for a backpack.

On the 200m run, the backpack helps people wear faster than they can, and at the same time, they lose less energy, according to the Phys.Org site.
