US deploys self-driving cars

Google's car, the first fully automated vehicle, will be used on California roads from 2015.

"Today, we unveil the best holiday gift we can ever imagine, perfecting the first automaker, " Google announced on its Web site yesterday.

Accordingly, when Google's drivers are satisfied with every quality standard during the Christmas test period, auto-vehicles will appear on the street.

The first 100 models with only two navigation buttons are "go" and "stop" , while also equipped with GPS navigation system, cameras and various sensors. However, this is the original design and has no real headlights. Since then, Google has been researching and testing systems such as brakes, steering equipment, computers, and sensors.

According to RT, Google's announcement yesterday marked a leap in the journey of realizing the human dream, which is thought to be only in science fiction. More importantly, this is the development step that paves the way for using similar autopilot technology.
