According to Göran Ericsson, professor of elk at the Swedish Agricultural University, news about elk in recent years is increasing rapidly. As can be seen, this syndrome is becoming more and more popular.

The cause may be due to government sponsorship. In Sweden, hunters are allowed to hunt elk, but not to shoot any deer with a level of over 50% white coat.
