Left-handed is a natural trait.

About 10% of the remaining remains have differences in arm length and bone density. Ancient tools and crafts show evidence of left-handedness.

No matter what you think, you can't choose the right hand. It can be predicted before birth, based on the fetal position in the womb.

So if the dominant hand is innate, is it genetic? We do not have a firm answer yet.
