Video: Fire bridge makes Finland night sky bright as day
A word falling makes the sky above Lapland, Finland, glow as in the middle of the day.
The blinding light in the sky above the Lapland municipality of Inari is so strong that it can be seen from the Russian Gulf of Kola and northern Norway, according to the Long Room.
The fireball made the sky "light up like day".
People watching the stars reported seeing the sky "light up like day" in seconds when meteorites rushed across the Earth on November 16. This meteor is more likely to fall to the ground instead of breaking up in the air.
Atle Staalesen witnesses saw a flash of light in northern Inari on Thursday evening, according to Barents Observer . "Light comes from all around us, like a big explosion lasting 5 to 6 seconds," Staalesen recalls.
Morten Bilet at the Norwegian Meteorological Network believes that this spectacle is the result of a falling meteorite."There is no doubt that a large stone, a meteorite rushes towards the mountain. It is so bright that it is called a fire bridge and explodes several times on the way down , " Bilet said.
