Video: Journey to transport 80 ton nuclear reactor tanks
Three tanks of 80-ton nuclear reactors were transported by river under strict police protection.
This tank weighs 80 tons.
3 stainless steel nuclear tanks with a capacity of more than 230 cubic meters, transferred to a construction site 210 km away.
First, they were transferred to a 55m long ship, preparing for a 112km trip upstream. This is a very heavy job, needs a lot of preparation and scheduling.
Lifting tanks on boats is a job that requires precision, carefulness and meticulousness.
