Video: Jupiter Triangle in the night sky in April

Jupiter and two other bright stars form an isosceles triangle that is clearly visible in the night sky this month.

This phenomenon can be observed in the night sky around 11pm. Facing the east-southeast direction, you will see a balanced triangle consisting of stars: Arcturus, binary Spica and Jupiter . In it, Jupiter becomes the brightest point in three points.

Next to Arcturus - Jupiter and Arcturus - Spica of a slightly longer triangle than next to Moc - Spica.

The triangle will shrink in shape throughout the month, when Jupiter moves towards Spica. This triangle is still visible until September, when Spica disappears at sunset.

Jupiter will also disappear at the beginning of November. The giant gas planet will not reappear in this airspace before 2030.
