Video: Simulation of F-1 satellites in space
In the long-term mission on the upcoming International Space Station, Astronaut Akihiko Hoshide (JAXA) will perform the task of launching small satellites out of orbit with J-SSOD equipment. These launched small satellites include F-1, RAIKO, FITSAT-1, WE WISH and TechEdSat are assembled with Kounotori transport (HTV-3). HTV-3 will launch into orbit from the Tanegashima center on HII-B boosters scheduled for July 21. After being launched into orbit, the HTV-3 will depart from the HII-B rocket to establish a communication channel with the ground control station and head towards the International Service Station.
