The video shared by account Nomore123 on Liveleak on May 16 recorded a snake hurriedly taking sips of water through a cylinder given to a stranger, attracting more than 190,000 views since posting. This person slowly pumped the cylinder down to let the water flow into the snake's mouth, according to Longroom.
The snake even seemed to want to drink again when the water in the syringe was empty. The incident happened in the Empty Quarter desert or Rub 'al Khali in Saudi Arabia. Outdoor temperatures here reach 41 degrees Celsius in May and 56 degrees Celsius on the hottest summer days.
