Drinking water helps to be more lucid

If your mind is stagnant, then a glass of water may be the best solution. Because drinking water can make the mind more flexible, according to research by British scientists.

Scientists at the University of East London (UK) believe that once thirst is released, the human brain will focus on work. The team conducted an experiment with 34 men and women.

Volunteers were asked to perform some mental tests twice - once after breakfast with only a dry bar and a second after breakfast with a dry pay and a bottle of water. No one ate or drank anything the night before and all volunteers were asked how thirsty they were when they started the experiment.

People who said they did not feel thirsty for a relatively quick reaction when taking the test whether they drank water or did not drink water. Those who admit feel thirsty to react faster after drinking water. They completed the test 14% faster than not drinking water.

Scientists think water works to free some of the busy active brain areas by signaling the body is thirsty.

'You are not affected by drinking a glass of water while you are concentrating. A cup of tea or coffee also helps you to quench your thirst very well , 'said Dr. Caroline Edmonds, head of the study.

Dr. Caroline Edmonds had previously demonstrated that children who drink water when taking the test are about 1/3 more effective. A separate study found that drinking water lacking in gray matter may shrink you less lucid.
