Video: Super storm Big red star on Jupiter shrinks and changes color

NASA used data since 1979 and tracks this diminishing storm. What surprised NASA, though , was that the large Red Spot narrowed up . In terms of color change, the researchers said that it could be because the chemicals in the storm were brought higher and the ultraviolet radiation from the Sun caused the storm to be darker.

Scientists are not clear whether large red stains will stabilize or will completely dissolve in the future.
