Laswitan is a coastal lagoon in the city of Cortes, the province of Surigao del Sur, Philippines is surrounded by large blocks of 6m high. The location and special geographical characteristics create a very unique natural phenomenon.
During the period from October to March, large waves formed during strong winds rushed into the rocks, creating a waterfall effect rarely seen in coastal lagoons.
