The phenomenon of snow tsunami is created when the light and wind are directed to the illusion formed on the horizon.

Ariel McGlothin had the opportunity to observe extremely rare scenes while shooting winter wildlife in Kelly, Wyoming, Long Room yesterday. The phenomenon of the "ghost tsunami" is created when the light and wind are aligned to the illusion formed on the horizon. The scene lasted a few minutes before the wave disappeared due to the wind changing direction.

In the video, a giant ice powder wall appeared in front of McGlothin when the Sun was in a wind-driven position, highlighting the crystals of snow moving along the wind, much like the waves that hit the shore. The stormy wall came and McGlothin had a feeling she needed to run away from the tsunami.

"It was a special and interesting experience. The appearance of the winding wave surged so really that I really thought it was rushing towards me. I watched the scene for about 15 minutes until the corner. Light changes and all phenomena disappear, I feel very fortunate to be able to follow this phenomenon, " McGlothin said.
