Rare and precious snow leopard appears in China
Chinese scientists on November 26 said their infrared cameras have recorded one or two rare snow leopards in a nature reserve in Xinjiang.

This is the first time since 1986, scientists have obtained evidence of the emergence of this rare animal in the area.
Images from the camera show that there are 1 or 2 snow leopards and in good health condition. There are also some other endangered animals such as wild camels, Tibetan wild asses .
Snow leopard - one of the animals belonging to a class A Chinese protected group, is often found in the Himalayas in Central and South Asia at an altitude of 3,000-5,500m.
This species has rarely been seen in nature since the last century due to habitat loss and poaching.
It is estimated that there are only about 3,500-7,000 newspapers in the wild and about 650 live in captivity.
