Video: The secret of Captain America's shield

A Canadian engineer shared the secret of building a famous shield in the sci-fi sci-fi Captain America (Captain America).

According to Business Insider, engineer James Hobson in Canada uses an account called The Hacksmith to share how to successfully create a famous weapon of superhero character in Captain America . The video published by Hobson on May 13 attracted nearly 2.2 million views.

To simulate the shield that could fly back like in the movie, Hobson wrapped the entire arm with an electromagnet capable of holding objects weighing up to 1,300kg. The shield is made of steel similar to the prototype in the film and is subjected to the suction or repulsion force of the magnet system in the arm. Hobson said his next goal was to create a personal jet system like Iron Man.
