Vietcombank buys 4,000 MS Office licenses

Yesterday afternoon (October 16), the Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) officially signed an agreement with Microsoft to buy licenses for using Microsoft Office software.

Accordingly, Vietcombank will permanently own 4,000 copyright licenses using Microsoft Office 2003 software and any new version of office application software that Microsoft will launch in the next 3 years. The staff of Vietcombank will also be licensed to use Microsoft Office 2003 software at home.

In addition, partners will also work together to optimize Vietcombank's IT infrastructure system based on Microsoft's technology platform.

Thus, with this agreement, Vietcombank has become the first enterprise in Vietnam to implement the policy of equipping and using copyrighted software, step by step removing the copyright infringement of software use. .

Currently, Vietcombank has applied many Microsoft software such as server operating system software, workstations, database software, communication software, programming tool software, and project management. .
