Vietnam successfully tested small-sized diving vessels

Hoa Binh, the name of a small dive boat was first researched and manufactured in Vietnam has been successfully tested in Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa).

The vessel is 6,63m in length, 2.74m in height, 4.5 nautical miles per hour with 24 hours diving time and 50m diving depth. It can carry 4 people. Buoys and components attached to the body are stainless steel to ensure a firm and non-corrosive.

At the test at Cam Ranh Shipyard on Sept. 22, the team tested a stand-up dive boat, dived, floated and tested in a 15m According to a statement released by the Center for Science and Technology Communications (Ministry of Science and Technology).

Ships can communicate with shore or other vessels one kilometer away by radio communication. Dive boat floated by 4 floats arranged symmetrically on both sides of the hull of the ship under pressure. The working mechanism of the vessel is based on the balance of compressed air in the buoy and water pressure outside the float to adjust the buoyancy.

After the test, Hoa Binh ship will be checked long distance registry. This is the final test to certify technical safety for ships operating.

This event marks the first time that Vietnam has mastered the design process of dive boats that have been recognized by the foreign registry agencies in accordance with Vietnamese and international conditions.

Hoa Binh is the result of an independent state-level trial project "Complete the technological design and manufacture of small-scale submersible vessels", which is assigned by the Ministry of Science and Technology to invest and develop. high technology Vinashin implemented from 2010 with the total expenditure reported more than 25 billion, of which the state budget supports more than two billion.
