By the end of this year, the Russian Navy will be equipped with this type of submarine to serve defense interests and prospects for use in the field of scientific research, such as geological exploration.

The Konsul diving equipment tests show the considerable success of deep diving engineering in Russia. In the Arctic Ocean, the Consul conquered depths of 6.270m.

Among the current generation of dive devices operating in the world, only the Shinkai 6500 diving equipment from Japan reaches a depth of 6,527 meters. However, the Russian submarine is capable of competing with the Shinkai 6500 because in fact, the Konsul can dive deeper than 6km according to the design. The submarine was built with " dual purpose ", which served the special projects of the Russian Navy, and was able to serve geological and geophysical studies.

Experts say the consul will become an important part of the Russian Navy with the prospect of engaging in various activities such as installing marine equipment; track submarines, floating ships; Hydrological work: reviewing water temperature, salinity, flow direction, sea level changes; repairing underground cables, detecting mines, investigating shipwrecks, falling planes, submarines ...

The dive equipment can also be used for large-scale rescue, with a continuous operating time of 12 hours, and rescue operations, including shipbreaking, while up to date. The same is not sufficient for this. The consul has the ability to deliver up to 200kg of water surface, the height and width index of the device is greater than that of submarines of the same type.

In addition, the Konsul manned dive possesses a special safety system, which can automatically float to the surface in case of force majeure in order to save the crew.
