Russia tested technology to bring tourists to the stratosphere
Stratonavtika, Russia's aerospace specialist company, has successfully tested the first manned flight to the stratosphere.
This is the first time to test a manned program on the stratosphere.
"The first test phase of the combination of manned stratosphere flights has been completed. The process of starting the cluster stratosphere has been carried out. Parachute testing, astronaut costumes, The suspension, the separation device and the remote radio channel were successful, ' the statement posted on Stratonavtika's website.
According to Stratonavtika, during the experiment, the astronaut in the costume was named "Sokol", equipped with sensors and named cameras to a height of 25.7km. This work was carried out in a cluster stratosphere, consisting of six balls containing helium.
"Grounding took place at the expected location , " the statement added.
This is Stratonavtika's 100th flight test to the stratosphere and is the first test of a manned program.
Stratonavtika has been the launch operator for the stratosphere since 2010. The main goal is to organize manned flights to the stratosphere.
