Equipment to help scuba dive without using oxygen tanks

This device is like an "artificial" fish carrier that allows users to stay in water for 45 minutes without the need for a bulky oxygen tank.

A research team from Stockholm (Sweden) has just introduced a unique product: underwater personal breathing apparatus. In other words, it's like an "artificial" fish carrier that allows users to stay in water for 45 minutes without the need for a bulky oxygen tank.

Triton - underwater personal breathing support device.

If you've ever seen the movie "Thunderball" about the 007 James Bond agent, you'll definitely be familiar. In the movie, 007 is equipped with a "toy" that provides oxygen like a small pestle, by sucking it in the mouth that he can dive without having to wear oxygen on his back.

The young team was inspired by the film and invented a respiratory aid device under the Triton, also known as artificial bearing.

A lithium-ion battery will power the compressor for 45 minutes.

The central part is a special porous microfiber film with twisted threads that retain water molecules and only allow oxygen to pass through.
Triton has two mini compressors to ensure adequate supply of oxygen needed and help users breathe easily. A lithium-ion battery will power the compressor for 45 minutes.

When the battery starts to run out, the Triton will vibrate to warn the user until it has to surface.

This device is very easy to use.

According to the author group, using this device is easy. The diver just needs to suck the tube into his mouth and then Triton starts working. Its only drawback is that it does not allow users to dive deeper than 4.5 meters. The device will vibrate to alert if depth reaches this level.

Wearing a personal Triton will make it easy to wave the area without wearing a oxygen tank

Even a child can use Triton, but of course supervised by adults. The compact design and high mobility of the devices make it easy to carry anywhere, and is especially useful in underwater rescue operations. With such advantages, Trition's $ 300 price is probably not that expensive.
