Tiny US stealth tanks in the future
The US military has announced plans to build small tanks with unique stealth capabilities and double the speed of existing armored vehicles.
Since its inception more than 100 years ago, tanks have been increasingly demonstrating its importance on the battlefield. Modern tanks are fast moving, good armor and powerful firepower. However, these improvements make them heavy and bulky, and they can not work in tasks that require high mobility.

US military experts are keen to build a compact armored vehicle capable of operating in complex terrain with maneuverability and invisibility. The US military expects the introduction of the GXV-T miniature tank to overcome the inherent weaknesses of today's tanks.

The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) said it was difficult for the enemy to detect GXV-T because it was equipped with intelligent armor. Meanwhile, the size of the vehicle is reduced by half and it is capable of twice as fast as the current tank. In addition, it can exceed 95% of terrain types on Earth.
The GXV-T is also equipped with four advanced technologies, including unique wheel system, circumvention capability, support devices for tanks and superior stealth technology. reduce radar feedback, avoid detection by infrared and other detection systems.

DARPA is keen to develop GXV-T's technology in 24 months. If successful, the new vehicle will make a leap in the history of tank development. In addition, the state-of-the-art technology that experts use to make the GXV-T will play an important role in future US weapons projects.
