Mr. Dang Vu Tuan Son, Chairman of Vietnam Young Astronomical Club (VACA) said that in Vietnam, the best time to observe is in the morning of April 22, before sunrise.
The constellation Lyra, the center of a meteor shower rises quite high in the East and gradually rises above the celestial sphere around 1 or 2 am. The viewer easily recognizes it because there are 4 bright stars forming an almost complete parallelogram, besides a very bright star, Vega (Female).
Viewers can observe by looking up at the eastern sky, where the constellation Lyra - the center of the meteor shower grows quite high. However, according to the expert, this time coincides with the full moon day (ie the night of the 15th and the 16th day of the 16th day of the lunar calendar), the vision will be significantly hampered.
Meteor shower is a phenomenon where thousands or even tens of thousands of small meteorites plunge into the earth's atmosphere and burn when the earth reaches the orbit with meteorites. These meteorites are often the result of comets as they pass through the Earth's orbit.
