Vietnam's first 'spaceship' was successfully launched
At 4 am May 16, from the town of Alice Spring (Australia) "spacecraft" built by a group of Vietnamese engineers was successfully launched and operated stably at the ceiling of 25km.
This is an event that attracts the attention of numerous scientific communities in the country.
The "spaceship" with the full name is the stratospheric flying device.
The model of spacecraft is built by a group of Vietnamese engineers.(Screenshots).
According to Master Pham Gia Vinh - Vietnam's first head of design, manufacturing, "spacecraft" has been launched into the cosmic environment and operates stably at a height of 25km. This device is also simulated to act as a telecommunications satellite.
So after more than 2 years (from February 2014) research and design with many times of experimentation, this event has opened a great prospect in the application of equipment to study the high atmosphere, research environment, resources, telecommunications and defense.
At a height of about 30km, this device will help scientists easily observe, study the formation and path of storms.
The advantage of this device is that it can transfer data faster than satellites by sending images collected directly to Earth.
In the field of information security, when a satellite fails, it can use a flying device such as a receiving and broadcasting station for a week to repair.
In addition, the flying device can make radar systems for defense and scientific research.
