According to Nguyen Dung, Department of Organic Chemistry, Department of Chemical Technology, the material is actually a mixture of metal powder with particle size less than 0.1mm, cheap and available. available in Vietnam.

When you need to heat or heat a certain area of your body, such as feet in cold weather, just tear the protective wrapper, take out a cloth pack containing metal powder and put it in your shoes. If you want to apply heat in a position on the arm, just use tape to attach the bag to that area.

When exposed to air outside the package, the metallic powder mixture in the bag easily reacts with oxygen and emits enough heat to heat and warm the body. The material emits heat at 42-45 C in 4-6 hours and is disposable.

The research team is completing the technology of synthesizing this heat, going to scale production and testing and registration solution useful to put this material into goods for life.

Dung said this is the first time such a material has been made in Vietnam. Due to its synthesized in dry form, it is easy to maintain, convenient and non-toxic. Japan's Kurashi Moa also produces this product, called Kairo mini, for heating or heating.
