Washing your hands when angry will help you feel more comfortable

Scientists have shown that, when angry, washing your hands will also make you feel more confident and optimistic.

>>>95% of people wash their hands the wrong way when going to the toilet

A recent study by German scientists has shown that, after failure or anger, cleansing habits such as washing hands and washing clothes by hand will make us feel more optimistic and happier.

Dr. Kai Kaspar from the University of Cologne (Germany) has conducted many studies on this issue after every bad event. He found that those who wash their hands after failing something have become more confident to complete their work in the future.

Dr. Kaspar invited 98 volunteers to participate in the experiment and divided into 3 groups. In the first part of the experiment, groups will have to solve and complete an impossible task. When everyone in the group failed, they were asked to wash their hands.

After washing their hands, they all expressed optimism that they would do a better job in the future. However, not everyone has the ability to successfully complete the task at the next request.

Dr. Kaspar explains: " While cleaning your body, you can eliminate negative emotions, but it also reduces the motivation for you to try harder in a new test situation."

A previous study by the University of Michigan also pointed out that washing hands is both clean and hands-off. Scientists also point out that those who wash their hands immediately after making a difficult decision will feel happier, more confident with their choices than those who don't work this small.

The study was published in the Journal of Social Psychology and Scientific Personality.
