Watches can pay for goods
A high-tech watch has just been launched in the UK that can help people pay for coffee, newspapers and other small-value items.
The clock has an IC that is similar to a mobile phone SIM card, allowing you to pay by tapping a special device in the drawer for money. The 'Watch2pay' watch is the successor to Quick Tap, a similar system that allows mobile payments to be launched earlier this year. Instead of debiting your bank account, the meter only uses the money you've filled up on your online account. And if the watch is lost or stolen, your account may be canceled by phone or website. Initially, Watch2pay can only pay for transactions up to a maximum of £ 15. This limit may be extended depending on the level of product being marketed.
This product line is available in eight colors, priced at £ 99 (about € 3.2 million) / unit and can be used at 70,000 stores in the UK. MasterCard, the unit that coordinates with the watchmaker LAKS (Australia), has launched the watch, claiming that its devices can help people pay close attention. Plan to save or spend money for children.
