Proven cancer can be inherited. Obesity is also the same, and the time to . divorce may also be due to genes.

Broken marriage is something no one wants, especially when there is a common bond between them. More importantly, when parents break up, children are at risk of being physically and mentally hurt later.

According to previous research, science has proven that people with divorced parents as children, and at times growing, tend to have unstable marriages. The phenomenon is real, and the reason is supposed to be children mimicking the actions of their parents in the past.

People with divorced parents at a young age also tend to have unstable marriage.

However, in a study recently published in the journal Psychological Science of Dr. Salvatore and Kenneth Kendler, the cause may be genetic . That is, these children inherited genetic code that led to "breaking" the marriage from their parents.

To further study the role of genes in couples' divorce, the two experts used Swedish population data for reference. The data include personal information of Swedish citizens, gender, marital status, criminal record, education level and a history of alcoholism.

This data focuses on detailed information about the birth parents and adoptive parents of adopted children. In total, the number of participants was 19,715, in order to find a link between their marital status and divorce from both parents and adoptive parents.

If one of the siblings is divorced, the rest also own 20% of the possibility of divorce in the future.

This study indicates that about 20% of people with divorced parents tend to divorce their partners. But if they are adoptive parents, this does not seem to have much impact on their children's decisions later.

Not only that, Dr. Salvatore and Kendler also proved that if one of the siblings is divorced, the rest also own 20% of the possibility of divorce in the future. This does not happen between siblings who are adopted.

This is just one of the factors that increases divorce rates, not all.

The above results demonstrate that genes play an important role in "genetic" action of divorce from one generation to the next. According to Salvatore, genes will be a very important factor, needing psychologists to help people with divorced parents.

But besides, it should be understood that this is only one of the factors that increase divorce rates, not all decisions . Sustainable marriage needs mutual understanding, and should put responsibility first before making a decision.
