What determines 'men's ability'?

According to new research, the very length of sperm, not just their large numbers, is the determining factor for men's ability to have children.

Scientists at Brown University (USA) said they found the most easily detectable element to assess sperm strength when it was first observed, which is the tail's sperm length.

Lead researcher James Mossmon said the long tail helps the sperm to swim better and more persistently, explaining why some couples have trouble trying to have children, according to the Daily Mail.

The team assessed sperm samples of 103 men registered at the Sheffield Infertility Clinic of the NHS Foundation Trust (USA).

They explained why only 1% of the 300 million sperms were released from men in every "battle" to the partner's uterus, and only a few dozen "children" swam to eggs, according to the newspaper. The report is dedicated to Human Reproduction.

Previously, there were studies of sperm that could locate the direction.
