Crickets
Water is believed to be the deadly trap of many small insects. When dropped into the water, they will become prey to fish and create a layer of mucus.
The mucus layer appears on the surface of the water, which is used by smart crickets as a jumping pad with flexible wings.
The set of winged crickets is made up of Resin, flexible organic material like rubber, has perfect elasticity.
With the discovery, the researchers considered designing a submarine's propeller according to the model of the cricket wing.
