Why is it that only East Asians and Native Americans have milk teeth shovels?

The baby's shovel-shaped baby teeth are due to the evolutionary characteristics of mother's milk, all for the sake of survival in the . stone age!

Most of us have milk teeth, it's not strange. But researchers at the University of California have come up with an interesting finding - that shovel-shaped baby teeth are only found in East Asians and Native Americans but are rarely seen in other population groups.

To this day, almost 100% of Native Americans still have milk teeth shovel-shaped. This rate in East Asians is 40%. Why is that? What is the common point between these two groups?

Archeology confirms that they have in common, but it lies in . between the Pacific Ocean 25 thousand years ago, ie in the Stone Age!

At that time, there was a narrow strip of land between the Eurasian continent and the North American continent called Bering bridge , which has sunk to the bottom of the sea today.

Ancient East Asians wanted to follow this strip to North America but failed, because in front of it there was no sign of life.

Right at Bering bridge itself, living conditions are extremely harsh. The climate here is cold and the sun is always absent, the food source is limited.

It is not surprising that only small groups of residents may continue to exist - they are now called Bering people.

To maintain the race, the Bering woman developed an important evolutionary trait!Gene EDAR is responsible for producing proteins that have developed mutations, leading to denser breast tissue when they have children.

In other words, more expensive milk ducts help the Bering mothers' children absorb more milk, and thus have enough fat and vitamin D to survive between starving and sunlit places.

Representative of the research group, Dr. Leslea Hlusko, said: "This evolutionary trait shows the great significance of the mother-child relationship, which affects the existence and development of humans."

Finally, after being stuck for 10 thousand years in the Bering strip, a small group of residents were able to return to East Asia while most continued to North America as originally planned by their ancestors.

The first American residents were originally from East Asia. When they arrived in the United States, they had an Inuit-like appearance (photo) rather than today's Aboriginal people.

Back to the story of milk teeth, it can be explained as follows. When a gene changes, it entails many other biological characteristics that change as well.

It is not only the mother's breast but also some points in the child such as: thick, long hair and milk teeth with shovel shape!

The shovel-shaped baby teeth are typical of Native Americans and East Asians.

For tens of thousands of years, this evolutionary trait has been retained naturally by Native Americans and nearly half of East Asians - descendants of the Bering people who have been resilient in olden times!
