World record: Planting 66 million trees within 12 hours

Greening the Earth is one of the ways to curb global climate change. And if anywhere can be done like this country, perhaps Earth will soon be saved.

The process of climate change is faster day by day and people are doing everything to stop it, or at least slow it down.

One of the feasible methods is to re-green the land that has been destroyed by humans.

And believe it, the Indians have recently set an example for the world with the speed of cultivating real trees: 66 million trees within 12 hours . That speed has flattened the record previously created by themselves: 49.3 million trees

Recently, Indians planted 66 million trees within 12 hours.

More specifically, the Indian government launched a planting day in Madhya Pradesh - a huge state in Central India. Within 12 hours, from 7 am to 7 pm, many volunteers have somehow grown enough of 66,300,000 young trees. Meaning, the planting speed here is up to 5.5 million trees / h.

It is known that in 2016, the event was held in Uttar Pradesh within 24 hours, and they only planted 49.3 million trees. Although the Guinness World Records organization has not officially recognized it, the title of "fastest and most cultivating tree" may be difficult to escape from India.

According to Indian officials, the country plans to increase the green cover area to 95 million hectares by 2030 - the time of the Paris Conference on Climate Change. India has mobilized more than $ 6.2 billion to implement this campaign, which encourages all 29 states of this country to participate.

Indians have made a record of planting trees in the world.

For decades, India was not too dominant in environmental activities. Even, they are still the leading country in terms of carbon emissions (partly due to the large population - 1.3 billion people). Many survey data show that the country faces many environmental problems, such as low air quality in the city, poor wastewater treatment activities, fossil fuel use .

Greening the Earth is one of the ways to curb climate change.

But those images are fading. There have been many economic projects focusing on green energy and the environment, both locally and nationally.

And now by establishing a record of planting trees, the world will realize that India is willing to change in a more positive way with the Earth's environment.
