Fossil three million year old mammoth teeth on the English coast

A couple found fossilized three-million-year-old mammoth teeth in Essex County, England.

Wendy and John Booth found fossils of a mammoth tooth dated three million years ago in Naze, Essex County, England, Mirror on Oct. 19.

"At first I thought it was a brown concrete. I was very happy to realize it was the mammoth's tooth. We were displaying it as a souvenir in the closet at home , " Wendy said. share.

"This is a very rare finding. It is indeed a fossil from the Red Crag era about three million years ago," said Steven Walker, a communications officer at the Naze Tourism Center.

Naze is the place to find famous fossils. Wendy and John often come here to explore the cliffs with their friends.

"We have found bones, shark teeth and other normal objects, but none of these things are that big," commented Wendy's friend.
