Men who are taller than their wives make marriage happier

Normally, men prefer women lower than themselves, and women want their lovers or husbands to be higher. This, for many people, is still a mystery that has yet to be solved, but recently Dutch scientists have come up with a new answer.

To answer this question, researchers at the University of Groningen decided to conduct a survey, attended by about 50,000 people both men and women.

The survey shows that most women think their partners need about 20cm high. And the representatives of the men found their 'second half' lower than them about 8cm, which is most suitable. Based on the survey data, the researchers concluded that the optimal height of women is 174cm, and that of men is 188cm.

But this is only an ideal difference. Other studies show that only 4% of women couples are taller than men, and 3.5% of couples are equally high.

The advantage of being married is higher than the wife explained by scientists, first of all, in accordance with the law of biology: When the higher the man, the higher their children are.

Not long ago, the staff of the American Institute of Public Opinion (Gallup) found that the size of a human being had a great influence on their status. Men and women have a higher height than average (for men is 177.8cm and women are 162.6cm) all feel happier, happier, more successful than friends of low stature baby

On the other hand, according to Polish scientists, in family life, money and mutual respect are not as important as the margin between the stature of husband and wife. The best in marriage is that the husband must be 1.09 times higher than his wife.

The most striking example of height incompatibilities is the married couple Nicole Kidman (180cm) and Tom Cruise (170cm), in which they are 0.94. Not meeting this condition is Prince Charles (168cm) and his wife Camilla Parker-Bowles (170cm) with the rate of 0.98. And the typical successful marriage belongs to football player David Beckham (183cm) and his wife Victoria (168cm), the number is ideal - 1.09.

Some people believe that the height of the individual affects the success of that person. British psychologists affirmed that tall people have more success in their careers. Statistics in a British company confirm that the average height of managers is 2.5cm higher than the average employee's height and their income is more than £ 400, regardless of whether they are male or female.

Another US study also confirmed the relationship between stature and financial success. On Walls Street (US Financial Center), an inch (2.45cm) of "high" on the high screen led to a salary of more than £ 340.
