10 endangered animals

One-horned Javan rhinoceros, the recently declared extinct species in Vietnam, is one of the 10 most endangered species in the world.

According to WWF, the Javan rhino in Cat Tien National Park was found dead
with bullet marks shot in the legs and the horn disappeared in April last year.

There are still some individuals and are being preserved in Indonesia.

Ivory mine woodpecker. This species lives in South America. They can
extinct due to loss of habitat.

Amur newspaper lives in snowy forests in the far east of Russia. The
Scientists say they currently have only 40 children due to poaching and logging.

About 100 large bamboo gibbons live in Madagascar. They
being threatened by human hunting and loss of habitat.

There are only about 350 straight back whales in the Atlantic Sea.

Gorilla mountain. About 700 are still alive in eastern Central Africa.
This species is on the brink of extinction due to the government's unstable policy.

Leatherback turtle. The largest number of turtles in the world is declining
alarm. The reason is that humans take their eggs and lay them on
coastline, and their nest is lost due to erosion.

Siberian Tiger. This species lives in the snowy regions of Russia. Its quantity
only 40 left in the 1930s due to hunting. Then the number of species increases
up to 500 but they are still threatened by human hunting.

Giant salamander in China. They are up to 1.8 meters long
gradually extinct due to heavily polluted living environment.

Hawaii seals are less than 1,000. Scientists have not yet
explain why their numbers decline.
