The development and development of informatics for the hearing impaired and the Braille and print support center are domestic projects financed by the Samsung Group's technology program with the amount of more than 90 thousand USD. to become a reality.
The above projects are of Bung Sang blind school and Hope 1 hearing impairment school, all aim to equip knowledge and bring technology access opportunities to the deaf and visually impaired communities nationwide. .
The printing and Braille support center will be invested in technology to complete the production process of Braille books, equipped with specialized equipment, gather information and organize the content of books below. electronic form and switch to printing. It is expected that during the project, the printing center will produce at least 1,000 books and Braille libraries for 500 readers.
Building and developing informatics for the hearing impaired is a project aimed at shortening the technology gap between deaf and normal people. According to the program implementers, it is estimated that more than 200 secondary school students of Hope School 1 will be able to use proficient computers and basic software as well as more widely used . in Project submission is done.
This is the 4th year Samsung Asia implemented Samsung Digital Hope program. This year, after more than 5 months of launching, the Union and Samsung Vina Electronics Company have received 21 projects from individuals and organizations throughout the country. In addition to the above two ideas, Samsung Vina Company will also sponsor USD 25,000 for the project which is evaluated as having good prospect of universalizing informatics for remote students of the Vietnam Student Association.
